My name is Brad and I am a US Army veteran and now retired after a career in television broadcasting and am active in many hobbies. I am somewhat of a geek and an entrepreneur at heart. I am a ham radio operator (W5SAT), enjoy off-roading in my Jeep Wrangler Rubicon and more recently collecting and learning about radioactive minerals and antiques.

Combining many of my interests eventually led to the creation of DecayChainDeals.com

I found that purchasing radioactive minerals online was surprisingly expensive. While on a recent Jeep trip to Moab, UT I decided to check out some areas well known for past Uranium mining to see if I could find Uranium minerals. Well, I found nice samples and brought them home with me and decided I would combine my love of off-roading and outdoors with my interest in radioactive items and this website is the result.

The goal of this store is to offer the best prices possible on minerals and antiques. This will allow me to enjoy my hobbies and hopefully make a few dollars to help fund those hobbies in my retirement.
